Kintsugi (golden joinery) is the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with resin, lacquer and golden dust.

During the volatile anagama (5 day) wood firing process, ceramic pieces often get damaged. Kintsugi celebrates the beauty of the fracture and completes the piece.
